GCr15 steel has a small alloy content and good performance. Chromium (CR) has a tendency to increase hardness, toughness and wear resistance of steel. Chrome steel is a chrome Alloy carbon steel, not a chrome plated steel.

Although these chromium steel balls have good rust resistance, but it is recommended to use a dry cloth to wipe clean after use and apply a layer of oil, so that they have better rust resistance, to extend their service life.

Hardened to 60-67 Rockwell Scale equivalent to 700-900 HV (Vickers Scale) and are hardened all the way through the ball. These are the same hardened steel balls used to manufacture bearing assemblies and have a high duty and life cycle.

The high-carbon chromium bearing steel is a high-carbon alloy steel with 1.30~1.65% chromium. It is characterized by a more uniform and stable structure after heat treatment, high hardness, high uniformity, good wear resistance, high contact fatigue strength, and good dimensional stability and corrosion resistance after annealing, its cutting performance is good and the price is relatively cheap. This steel can meet bearing requirements under normal working conditions.
